I like what you have here! I especially like what you've put here about that O'Hare petition! Proclaim it from the house tops and give God the glory!

Good job Willie!!!!! =)

When you get WPHA up and on the air, please remember "We Kids" Christ-centered, Bible-based radio for kids. It's a bright and fun little weekly radio program that would fit well into your Saturday morning format, judging from what I hear on your Real Audio feed. God bless you in your ministry!Ken
My Response:
I *FULLY* intend for WPHA to carry the Children's Sonshine Network on one of our subcarriers. :)

Pretty interesting thoughts! We should talk sometime.

Hi Willie! Just visiting per your suggestion in the Worship Center Forum. My friend Al Kim of Christian Media Promotions in CT has been talking about a Christian Radio Station in the greater Hartford area - so I'd LOVE to follow your progress! CT doesn't have to be a Christian Music DESERT any longer!!

Thanks for signing my guestbook. Your site looks great & I pray that the Lord will Bless the work of your music ministry through the radio. I too am involved in a praise & worship team music ministry, For Grace. We are stepping out in faith to go & to do whatever the Lord would direct us to do. I encourage you to continue to walk by faith, to go forward & not to give up on the vision God has given you.
Bless you in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hi, Willie! :-) I enjoyed looking at the website a lot. You have some WONDERFUL songs on your list. Suddenly
I want to pull out all my old cassettes and start listening to them again. Some of the songs on your top 100 and your playlist are old favorites. I was especially pleased to see Michelle Wagner there. :-) She used to go to my old church in Columbus, Ohio. I think alot of her music is awesome, but she didn't get much publicity. I am glad there are other people out there who appreciate her. I think there are a LOT more songs from Michael Card that would be very at home on your list... But if you listed EVERYTHING this list would go on and on and on and on.... I am very content. :-) Thanks for telling us about your site. I am praying that WPHA becomes a reality SOON!!! We
will be praying for you on Monday nights at the prayer meeting in CCity, too. Keep us updated. :-)
Love in Christ,
Marylyn
P.S. When WPHA is on the air, we are going to hold you to the promise of putting it on-line!! ;-)
My reply:
THANK YOU for your kind words! YES, THANK YOU for your PRAYERS, too!!! The whole concept of WPHA is to be a vessel that draws God's people closer to HIM through MUSIC! That list will certainly contain MANY more songs, someday! All *IN HIS TIME*!!!
UPDATE: The way things look now (March 2002) it is *HIGHLY UNLIKELY* that WPHA will ever be STREAMING ONLINE. This is because of the extremely DRACONIAN restrictions, fees, and requirements that are being imposed upon any kind of online streaming music. Unless Congress or the Courts overturn this, it looks like the future of most online music streaming is DIM.

I'm interested in listening + being a DJ

We will need ALL the help we can get... :) Please note that ALL DOORS to this ever happening appear SOLIDLY CLOSED. ONLY GOD can open them, and only in His time. Thank you for your interest, though! Please keep praying!!!

Keep up the good work! My travels often bring me to Virginia, where their are many Christian radio stations, but here at home, sadly, there are none to be found. Would be glad to help in any way possible. God Bless.
My reply:
If you know any Christian millionaires... Seriously. There are very few other options. Please PRAY, that is the BEST gift you can give! Thank you. :)

great site guys!
My reply:
Thanks! But right now, it's only one person. :)

Hello,
I noticed you have Jeoffrey Benward's "Let the Church Rise" song in your songlist. I was wondering if you could e-mail me with any information on how to get this tape/cd, who produced it etc. This is one of my all-time favorites and have been casually hunting it down for years. Thanks for taking the time. Dane
My reply:
I can only encourage you to keep searching the WEB. I'm sure you'll find it! :) It *IS* a great song... one that I play on Morning Light whenever there is a serious need for listeners to PRAY!
Comments:
God truly bless your endevors. I'm praying along with you and will pass on this missive. Rev. Willard Coefield of Alden Baptist in Spfld may be a person for you to contact. Godspeed, your sister in Christ

happen, He doesn't go back on His promises!!!! He gave you the Vision..it is just waiting on Him...Can not wait until this happens!! Praise the LORD!
My Reply: We will need all the help we can get once that station is going... but that may be a while, yet. Thanks for visiting!

I know the Lord will do it! Somehow, perhaps miraculously, He will take ownership of the airwaves. It's all His anyway. Sometimes music has a way of reaching the souls of men that no other means can. The music and song God is releasing in this hour is a new song from the Lord, a new anointing with fresh oil for such a time as this. I love all sorts of Christian music--from choir music to easy listening to vibrant praise to renewal music to spontaneous worship in the spirit... I add my faith to yours for the fulfillment of the vision.
"Father, in the Name of Jesus, give us the land, and the airwaves for your Glory to be revealed throughout, and many millions of souls will come to You, Lord, and give You praise." Amen.
Comments:
Lord, I pray that this endeavor will move foward and will not be hindered by the enemy of darkness and the light shall shine forth and bring the Gospel to the multitudes on the airwaves. I pray the powers on darkness are bound and rendered useless in the name of Jesus. And all assignments by the enemy are null and void and broken in Jesus name. Amen.
I believe its important for spiritual warfare to preceed an endeaver of this kind. May God give you wisdom and discernment in all the decisions to be made regarding this radio station.
My Reply:
THANK YOU! \o/ Please continue to pray, and get as many people praying as possible! Slowly but surely, this incredible ministry will be built! The ultimate purpose is to fill the air with Christ-Centered MUSIC, to draw His people closer to Him!
Comments:
friend,
Years ago I went thru a series of tests with the FCC to obtain an amateur radio license and know what it can be like to deal with this enormous and complex organization! Please be encouraged to press on with persistence,I believe this to be a powerful tool in the hands of the Lord to reach many souls, for his glory.

I am from Argentina and some times I pray that Exist a famous music international to let know to the world that The unite world in the Jesus Love is not imposible and that could change the world in any sense.

I noticed in your song list, you have a song by Susie Luchsinger listed "All across the sky" I was wondering what song that is? It's not on any of her albums...and I've never heard it, so I was just curious where you got it and what song it is?? Thanks!
My Reply:
I don't know how that happened... the only song by Susie in the list is "Love of God". "All across the sky" is actually by Steve Green! I just checked it, and it looks normal on my screen. Can you WIDEN your browser's window? Maybe that messed-up the alignment.

Hi Willie, we keep praying this will become a reality! Keep up the good work at WFIF.

It's really good to see a radio station that intends to feature 1980's-era Christian/gospel music, especially since most of the music from this era has been all but forgotten everywhere except on the Internet and eBay. Back in the 1980's here in Bakersfield there was a station (the FM KHIS) that I listened to almost exclusively back when all the real music was being played. Unfortunetely it's not on the air anymore and I have to rely on my album collection to hear any of it anymore. Unfortunately I'm not in your area so any listening will be over the Net if you'll be doing it that way also, but it's good to know you're doing it. (I ran into this site while doing searches for certain Christian artists on AltaVista)
When I saw your "signature" song, I could hardly believe what I was seeing! Silverwind: Praise Anthem is what I consider to be one of the 4 BEST SONGS EVER MADE along with Twila Paris: He Is Exalted, Michael W. Smith: Agnus Dei, and David Meece: Early In The Morning.
Your music list looks like a fairly good start, although of course that's only a few days worth of music and there are a lot of additional songs by the artists listed that could (and should) be included. Will your station be focusing on adult-contemporary and pop or more towards easy-listening and praise/worship? I am heavily into (80's-era especially) contemporary Christian music, and there are a lot of songs I'd like to recommend for your playlist. (I remember a lot of songs that were either played as singles or otherwise often played, mostly on the old KHIS which believe me I miss. If you play these "singles" you WILL get a good response.) For starters take a look at this site of mine. Any Christian-music station that doesn't play these songs...well...I'd wonder :-)
There are many (hundreds) of additional songs I'd like to recommend but it would make for a mighty long guestbook entry if I listed them here. :-) If you're interested contact me privately or I'll look here for replies.
Interestingly, the only place nowdays that I know I can hear anointed music and other 80's-era stuff is in the Bishop area which is where I go when I visit the High-Sierras! :-) (It's on the Pilgrim Radio Network translater 89.5 also 88.3 in Lone Pine.)
It sounds like you're fairly familiar with 80's-era Christian stuff. You have a good thing going. Keep it up and God bless :-)

(I have replied in detail via E-mail.) Thank you for your kind words! WPHA is not yet on the air, so please PRAY that God will open the right doors! \o/

We would like to contact you. We don`t have a Christian radio station, but are announcer/presenters on Albany Community Radio which has a lot of Christians on staff and a lot of Christian programs. All voluntary.

We wish you well in your desire to have a Christian Radio station.

Hello brother! Looks great and I'm praying the Lord gives you the desire of your heart - with God ALL things are possible - He is preparing you for something you can't even imagine! Love, your brother, Stephen Bennett

I enjoyed your website. I wondered if you would be willing to publicize the ministry of Billboards for Christ, Inc. There are on highway billboards in New England and have Only Scripture on them. There is a web address on the billboard (www.billboardsforchrist.org) which tells of our Lord Jesus Christ and how to receive Him as Lord and Savior. Would you please contact me about if you could help spread the word about the Word of God being on highway billboards? In Christ's Service, Mrs. Bowers - Psalm 34:1 God Bless you!!

Hope to be hearing you soon!!!
My reply:
So do I! This area NEEDS this!!! You *CAN* hear this kind of music every day from 6am-7am on AM1500, WFIF in Milford, CT. The program is called Morning Light. Click that link to find out more. :)

I have enjoyed viewing your web site and will definately be praying for your much anticpated "on -air" date. Where is the station located? Thank the Lord for Christian artists and Christians within the industry who want to further the Word of God through word and praise!
My Reply:
The station is not on the air, thus it has no location. There also is no "anticipated airdate", since *ALL* doors are presently solidly CLOSED. It will only happen in GOD's TIME. Please keep praying! I want it to be somewhere in the Southern CT area. (Bridgeport/New Haven)

Have been trying to find a copy of Phil Driscoll's "I Exalt Thee" (the original; not the 1998 version) to no avail...can you help?
My Reply:
I'm sorry, but I can't provide copies of music. The original may no longer be "in print". The only thing I can suggest is to keep searching the WEB until you find it. I agree, the new version is *AWFUL!* The original is MUCH better!
Comments:
My church is getting ready for our yearly Mission Conference and our theme will be "Carry the Light" We would like to find a copy of Twila Paris version of it. We have the sheet music but are looking for a midi or mp3 file or just info on where we can get it. If you can help please let me know. Thanks. Karen

May God bless you and your efforts to get WPHA on the air. Amen. You keep the faith no matter what, OK? Because some Christians depart from, cast off, or stray from the faith (1 Tim. 4:1, 5:12, 6:10,21). One can fall from grace (Gal. 5:4-7). One can sell their birthright (Heb. 12:15-17). For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins - Heb. 10:26. Look what Paul knew could have happened to him (1 Cor. 9:27) or to an elder (1 Tim. 3:6,7), or see what can happen to any Christian (2 Peter 2:20,21). I hope you aren't one of those who will not endure sound doctrine (2 Tim. 4:3,4). I hope for your best. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

I was wondering if you have Don Francisco's song, "Secret Place." I have been everywhere tryign to find this song. Ebay, Half.com, Francisco's official website (where I've emailed him repeatedly, with no reply), Google, AOLsearch, another radio station, and two different music downloading programs, not to mention all the stores I've been to. If you have that song, where did you find it? What CD is it on? I am beginnign to lose hope, and I loved that song. A friend of mine played it on the guitar once for me, but I've never been able to find it since.

I am trying to find a copy of the Vince wilcox song "THe Vows of Love." I ran a search and got your sight. Do you know where I can purchase a copy. Thank you. In Christ, Mary Parhiala
My Reply:
I'm sorry, but I can't provide copies of music. If an older song is not listed here, chances are I don't have it. <:( I have added a lot of NEW music to my WPHA libray, but have not had the time to update this online site's lists. My apologies. <:(
Please visit www.MyMorningLight.org for more up-to-date information. :)
