June 19'th, 2008 We now have a brand new FAQ page! If you have any questions that are not covered, please e-mail me! :) MAY 28'th 2008 WPHA now has a JINGLE! CLICK HERE to hear it! It was created by my friend Ken Farrington just for WPHA. From this beautiful piece of music, he will be creating other short bits to be used for WPHA when it goes on the air. Please continue to PRAY as God puts the pieces together! When it is His time, it will all come together and WPHA will begin operations. Only HE knows when... MAR 22'nd, 2008 After some detailed e-mail exchanges with a radio station Broker (Think: Real Estate Agent who deals exclusively with radio stations) I have discovered that FM radio stations in CT are far more expensive than I originally expected. $10 million would be a minimum value for a modest station, for example. A "big" station would be in the $40-$60 million range. So, unless we had several million in the bank, the Broker is unable to help us. By MAN'S standards, this is IMPOSSIBLE... but what is impossible with man, is POSSIBLE with GOD! Please add your prayers, believing for a BONA FIDE MIRACLE! \o/ The need is so great... Remember: GOD spoke this WORLD into being, so what is something like a $50 million dollar radio station to HIM? AMEN? :) MAR 6'th, 2008 I had a meeting with a local Christian businessman to discuss WPHA! Please keep praying! :) FEB 3'rd, 2008: I have begun some dialogue with local Christian Businessmen, regarding bringing a station like WPHA into existance! These discussions are just beginning... there are a LOT of details which will need to be hammered-out. This is the first time in 21 years that there is a sign of genuine interest by people who can actually make something happen! PLEASE PRAY! \o/ SEP 29, 2007: I've created a conceptual drawing of one possible way WPHA could exist. You can see it HERE! AUG 31, 2007: After 20 years of working at WFIF, God closed the very door that He originally opened in 1987. As a result of this "downsizing", MORNING LIGHT is OFF the AIR until WPHA comes into being. (Click the 'Morning Light' WEBsite for more info.) Now that I am no longer a full-time employee of WFIF, I am free to pursue the VISION of WPHA with all of my heart and soul, and in God's strength! God has been working ALL THESE YEARS, and now the dream is nigh at hand! I do not know HOW He is going to make it happen, but I know with absolute ASSURANCE that He IS going to!! \o/ JUN 2007: GOD IS WORKING!!! (As is evidenced by this NEW WEBsite and this brand new address!) When GOD is ready, these airwaves will be FILLED with the sounds of Christ-Centered music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! I don't yet know where, how, or when, but it FEELS like it will be SOON! That is all I can say at this time! PLEASE, KEEP PRAYING!! \o/ FEB 2007: It's been a LONG time! There have been no tangible signs that this vision will happen any time soon... but God has been keeping the fire buring in my heart all this time! (21 years, now!) I don't have any idea how or when He will open the door for this ministry to be birthed, but I eagerly and prayerfully await that day! Please keep praying, and tell others to pray also! We NEED a Christ-Centered MUSIC station in this area. May 2003: The vision for WPHA is still alive, in spite of the fact that the doors still appear to be closed. Please keep praying! March 2002: As far as I can tell, ALL doors for WPHA still remain nailed CLOSED. This is why there are no news items here in at least a year. As I said in Feb 2001 (below) the Vision is still alive, though. :) February 2002:People have asked if WPHA will ever have streaming audio. Due to the recent changes and new fees being imposed on streaming MUSIC over the WEB, it looks like this will NOT become a part of WPHA's ministry. Only time will tell, and GOD is in control. (2007 update on this: Based on what is happening with the Music MafIAA and their absolutely DRACONICAN and RUINOUS fee structure, online streaming of WPHA is just not going to be financially sustainable without a significant MIRACLE.) February 2001:Please keep praying. The Vision is still alive, although all doors remain closed. Only GOD can open them!!! Fall/Winter of 1986: The VISION and name of WPHA was placed within my heart by the Holy Spirit.
